Job description

AIVHY is looking to expand its team of experts & engineers in Industrial digitalization. Your task will be to develop and implement reliable, scalable, and cyber-secure IIoT & Industry 4.0-based digitalization solutions for companies, typically manufacturers and companies relying on heavy machinery. You will be working with your team members under the lead and guidance of the solution architect to achieve the best possible solution for the client.

Tasks

Design, develop, test, implement, and support digitalization and IIoT solutions for industrial applications.
Evaluate and select suitable IIoT devices, sensors, and communication protocols for various use cases.
Develop and maintain IIoT architectures and integrate existing systems, such as PLCs, SCADA, ERP & MES.
Analyze and process data from IIoT devices to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
Ensure cyber security, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Provide technical support to end-users.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in digitalization, IIoT, and related technologies.
Occasionally work abroad.

Hard skills & certificates

Knowledge of relevant concepts

Experience with

Programming in at least C/C++ and Python.
IIoT Communication, including MQTT, REST, OPC UA.
Linux Operating Systems, ideally Yocto.
Software Containers, such as Docker & Podman.
SQL Databases and ideally NoSQL databases.

Have an understanding of

(Industrial) communication, including Modbus TCP & RTU, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, CAN-bus, RS232 and RS485.
Industrial Control Systems, such as PLC & DCS systems, SCADA systems, and Drive systems (VFDs)
Machine Safety and Functional Safety, ideally experience with ISO12001, IEC 62061 and/or ISO 13849.
Cyber Security, ideally experience with the IEC 62443 or ISO 27001 standards.
Ideally: IT systems, such as ERP, MES, and WMS.
Ideally: Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Ideally: Familiar with industrial edge computing technologies.
